When I started my homeschooling  journey, I was excited, but also confused, frustrated, and stressed. I didn't have anyone who could show me how to start my journey and

I was overwhelmed by all the wealth of information available.

I scoured the internet for what I needed to get started and was exhausted at the process.

I'm so grateful that God gave me the wisdom and

strength to keep moving forward when I wanted to give up.

Later on, I met families who were interested in homeschooling their kids, but were apprehensive or reluctant about making the sacrifice and commitment.

Some were  overwhelmed, others were confused and found the process daunting.

That was my aha moment!

I began dreaming about how I could use my knowledge and experience  to help alleviate some of the fear and stress associated with homeschooling.  Sage Academics was born!

 

The Unlikely Homeschool Mom

Unlike some homeschooling veterans who dreamed of homeschooling their kids before conception,

it was honestly the last thing on my mind.

At that time, I was most interested in my daughter going to a good Christian school and I was willing to pay the price.

Then a friend told me about homeschooling, but I wasn't interested.

I was eager to enter the workforce again. However, God had different plans and I am so glad He did.

Homeschooling my daughter is one of the best decisions I have made; the sacrifice is well worth it.
